Staci Carney Studesville is a creative, yet pragmatic force behind influence.

Staci has 20+ years of diverse professional experience in sports and education. As an athlete, coach, professor, administrator, marketer and creative, she has always remained focused on her strong belief in connecting people, helping them maximize their potential and reach their goals.

 

She has served as an assistant college basketball coach at DePaul University, a marketing coordinator for the Chicago White Sox, Director of Girls Sports for the Chicago Public Schools, served as VP of Business Development for the Chicago Blaze of the National Women’s Basketball League (NWBL), worked in basketball operations for the Chicago Bulls and most recently led the Sport Administration Graduate Program at Canisius College, as college professor, advisor and program director. 

 

Staci’s career as a student-athlete has its roots in Chicago basketball.  She was a Chicago Public League All-Star at Whitney Young Magnet HS, earned a full scholarship to Purdue University where she was a captain of the nationally ranked Lady Boilermakers.  She was a part of Purdue’s first Big Ten Championship Team and went to two Sweet Sixteens and an Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Staci reached her dream of playing professionally when she was selected as a developmental player the first year of the WNBA for the Cleveland Rockers.  She also played a two-year stint with the Chicago Blaze of the National Women's Basketball League.  

 

After working exclusively in sports related careers, Staci recently meshed her decades-long love of design with invaluable technical training by enrolling in Parson's School of Design to complete their Graphic and Digital Design program. Staci is also an Interior Stylist and continues to grow her design repertoire, by adding Interior Design as a focus at Parsons.

 

With sports always being her first love, she continues to stay involved by coaching youth and HS basketball. Staci also sits on the Athletic Advisory Council at Purdue University.

Staci earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree from the prestigious Sports Administration and Facilities Management Program at Ohio University.   Her Design Certification is from Parson's School of Design, housed in The New School in NYC.
